Bearpaw's fall black bear hunt was once again a complete success as 15 hunters harvested 23 bears for another 150% plus season. Bow hunters did very well, 7 Pope and Young bears were harvested with the best being 20 4/8", 7'5", 425lb. boar.

All our bear hunters took bears in excess of 6'6" and we consider this to be an extremely large average. Bearpaw continuously searches for unhunted areas. We run an average of 8 bait sites per man allowing clients plenty of stand choices.

OUTLOOK FOR SPRING 2004

Due to the complications with the air arrival schedule we are changing our Hunt Dates to start on Tuesday and end on Sunday with Monday a travel day.
