Bearpaws'
2001 Spring Bear Hunt finished with 40 hunters harvesting 63
bears for 157% success rate.
We
have averaged 153% for the last 8 seasons in our Peace River
Camp.
Our
clients harvested 18 Bears with 18" or larger skulls and we
took 11 Bears exceeding 7' in length. Our average bear was 6'3".
Color was down to 30% of the total. Normally we are 35-50%.
Continuously
hunting virgin territory thus enabled us to maintain these high
numbers. |
Thanks
