For the last 3 years every time I have written this it has been with a what if attitude. Well, this year what if is a reality.

What if 40 whitetail hunters made great shots at great deer and never wounded or missed any. You would end up with the season we just had. 40 Hunters Harvested 39 White-tailed Deer and 12 Mule Deer for our best season in 5 years. We took 5 bucks over 180 and our average was 162. A superb year to say the least. Superior guides and a great area have produced a phenomenal number of "Top End Trophies".

Mark Richard took our "First Giant" of the year a 6x5 180 gross on the first day of his hunt with Mark Scobey and Chris Broster. Mark had 3 hunters all take bucks over 160.

Rick Smith, also on his first hunt, took a "Massive Main Frame" 4x4 with 20" of non typical for a gross score of 184 with newcomer Laurent Lavoie.

George Wheeler on his fourth hunt with Bearpaw took a superb buck with Bowen Dolhan 7x6 score 182 just a "Great Canadian Deer".

Terrell McCombs took a superb buck with Jason Parker a 167 gross 4x5 and Jeff Hayduk also took a 170 with Jason to round out his excellent season.

Gene Macha took a 182 gross 6x7 with Marvin Young.

Jim Dean took 12 days to get his combination hunt done. He took a 160 Whitetail with Gord Lavergne and a great 190 + Mule Deer with Jamie Langlois on the last day of the season.

Gene Wilson took a 176 Mule Deer and a 168 Whitetail.

Kurt McDermott took a 176 gross deer with Ryan Jones.

Guy Bruneau took 7 hunters and harvested 6 bucks all over 150 on his 527 hunts.

Trevor Barnes guided 2 hunters to a pair of high 150+ Bucks.

The effort put forth by our guiding staff was all any outfitter could ask for. I can't thank my staff enough.
