BEARPAW TROPHY MULE DEER UPDATE 2009 Our 2009 Mule Deer season was a good solid season with some exceptional bucks being harvested. The mule deer are showing signs of recovery from the winter kill of 2006. Four year old deer are now being seen on a regular basis. We took 8 bucks over 180” in 2009 due to the exceptional work of our guide staff where their effort is greatly appreciated. The winter of 2009 has started off perfectly for deer herds with very little snow and mild temperatures – however, this made it a little more difficult for us. This is hunting! We foresee a return of the 200” deer in the fall of 2010.
