BEARPAW MOOSE UPDATE 2008

Bearpaw has completed yet another excellent moose season with 100% success.  Our hunters made the most of their opportunities and took some excellent bulls in the process.

The average moose in our area is 40” wide, occasional bulls in excess of 50” are viewed.  However, this is primarily a non-trophy moose hunt with high success.

The October hunt is a rut hunt where calling is the primary method.  And November is a non-rut hunt in the farm country where it is spot and stalk.

The moose management appears to be solid and providing our clients a great experience to hunt North Americas largest deer.
