In a season where everything else went our way. Our Elk season did not.

The Cackowski Family put as much effort into an Elk Hunt as any group could.
A slow Rut and Mild weather combined to create tough conditions. 3 out of 6 Hunters were successful 2 with Bowen Dolhan and 1 with Pat Long.

The Big Bulls wanted until October to start showing up.

It took 4 days to hunt Elk for myself and I was rewarded with the Largest Bull we have ever harvested a 350" B&C 6x6. They are there, but sometimes they win.
