BEARPAW ARCHERY MULE DEER UPDATE 2008

Bearpaws’ archery mule deer hunt was a good solid hunt with 4 out of 6 hunters harvesting bucks.  The two unsuccessful clients each had multiple opportunities at great deer.

8 time repeat hunter Keith Brock harvested our best buck of the year.  A 195” gross awesome archery buck, taken on his first stalk and making a superb 36 yard shot. 

Fellow Texan, Blake Richards, also took a great buck on opening day.  A 188“ non-typical also on his first stalk with Veteran guide Shawn Pinkett.

Vance McCullers rounded out the first day success with a tall heavy Pope and Young buck with guide Justin Redlick.

Our area continues to produce numerous archery opportunities for the serious mule deer hunter in search of bucks over 180 Pope and Young.
